Welcome to Cheyenne’s Story

Where stories come to life and the heartbeat of Indigenous tradition is heard through every word. This is a place where the past and present meet. A vibrant space where the voices of Elders and Knowledge Keepers echo with wisdom, and the teachings of our ancestors are passed down with care.

At the heart of these stories is Cheyenne, a young Métis girl with a curious spirit and a deep connection to the land, her family, and her culture. Through her eyes, we journey into a world filled with adventure. Cheyenne’s adventures are more than just moments of play; they are pathways to understanding identity, community, and the traditions that shape who we are.

Each story is guided by the knowledge of Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers, whose voices and stories help preserve the history and teachings that might otherwise be lost. Through these stories, you will not only walk alongside Cheyenne, but also discover the resilience, beauty, and strength of Indigenous culture. This isn’t just a book series, it’s a living archive of Indigenous memory.

Adventure & More

Join Cheyenne as she steps into a world where each day brings a new adventure. From early morning fishing trips on the calm waters with her grandfather to learning the careful ways of tracking animals during family hunting seasons, Cheyenne’s days are filled with hands-on lessons and cultural traditions.

She plays traditional games with her friends, gathers berries with her aunties, and listens closely as the Elders share stories around the fire. Stories that teach her about respect, courage, and the land she calls home. Whether she’s paddling along winding rivers, exploring the forest trails, or learning the meaning behind sacred ceremonies, each chapter brings Cheyenne closer to understanding her heritage and her place in the world.

Come along and join Cheyenne in her exciting adventures!
